West Visayas State University College of Nursing (WVSU-CON) once again proved that they are a consistent top-notch school in the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) when eight of their graduates made it to the top 10 of the 2017 NLE. Leading the pack is Mary Angelie Cardente Cabañez who placed first in the exam with the highest score of 86.20 percent.

Joining Cabañez in top 10 are seven other graduates of CON namely Nechelyn Consular, who placed fourth with a rating of 84.80 percent, Alyssa Jude Montalban, who ranked fifth with a score of 84.60 percent, followed by Joane Christine Pedrola in the sixth place with a rating of 84.40 percent. Both in the seventh place with a rating of 84.20 percent are Lourence Ann Garrido and Julie May Suganob, followed by Darlyne Esposo at the eighth place with a rating of 84 percent, while Princess Meliton is at ninth place with a rating of 83.80 percent.

“The big news is that after 24 years, we were able to produce the 3rd Top 1 individual performer,” said Dr. Rosanna Grace Belo-Delariarte. “Top 1 individual performer, Top 2 performing school, and 8 in the top 10 this 2017! To God be the glory!”
