Dr. Lourdes Generalao promotes USeP in the Philippine Exhibit booth of the Annual Conference in Canada

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), represented by its President, Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao, participated in the 51st Annual Conference of the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) at The Halifax Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Slated to run from November 19 to 22, 2017, the conference, with the theme, “Pathways in International Education: Charting the Course,” seeks to gather educators and stakeholders from across the globe to establish collaborations on the trends and developments in education.

The opportunity to join the Philippine delegation in this activity paves the way for USeP to promote its programs and services to international markets, particularly to Canadian students. Through academic fellowships and research partnerships, USeP aims to form linkages with Canadian institutions in offering  undergraduate and graduate students research grants, exchange fellowships and overseas study programs among faculty and students, teaching partnerships, short courses fellowships, research opportunities and advice, guest lectures and visiting scientists and scholars, and industry-based learning placements.

Committed to become a premier university in the ASEAN region, USeP constantly engages in activities that strengthen international ties for possible partnerships on instruction, research, and student and faculty externship and internship programs. (USeP PR)
