The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) conducted the Uni-wide Research, Development and Extension (RDE) In-House Review on October 4-5, 2017 at the Grand Menseng Hotel in Magallanes Street, Davao City.

This year’s In-House Review welcomed proposals that are aligned with the six (6) 5-Year RDE Agenda of the University, namely: Climate Change, Sustainable Agriculture, Policy Studies, Socio-Cultural, Manufacturing and Production, and Emerging Trends. In the same event, RDE identified highly potential research and extension programs to be funded in the next fiscal year.

Aligned with USeP’s efforts in becoming a research university in the ASEAN region, this event encourages its faculty members to showcase their proposed researches and extension programs to uplift the living conditions of the citizens in the region. For years, USeP, as an academic institution, has extended support to the underserved and marginalized communities by utilizing its discoveries in research.

Last year, the Uni-wide RDE In-House Review also developed programs that have capacitated people in the region with different skills and values needed to create a livelihood project.
