December 7, 2015 – In line with the solemnity of their patroness, seminarians of the Immaculate Conception Major and Minor Seminary (ICMAS and ICS) held an evening procession of the Blessed Mother in the seminary compound as usual and along the roads of Bo. Tabe, Guiguinto for the first time.
Marshalled by the Barangay Police Officers of Tabe, they offered every step to Mary, the Immaculate Conception while praying the Holy Rosary and singing Marian songs between the mysteries.
Rev. Fr. Eugene Cruz, Spiritual Director of the Philosophy Department, led the singing of Salve Regina that ended the procession at the façade of the Philosophy Department. There also, seminarians showered flowers to the image of the Immaculate Conception and have butterflies fly around it.
After which, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Cruz, ICMAS Rector, gave his closing remarks. (Maybe today this is what Mary is saying: The Immaculate Conception is not only about me. It is about God and man ... because one can never combine God and sin and in the same manner, man and sin.), said the rector.
This festive celebration is the fulfillment of the promise of Fr. Eugene on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary last August 15, 2015 that the latter is just a foretaste of the celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
