Socotech aids 2 staffs finish Masters

Southway College of Technology is happy to extend assistance to two (2) faculty members in pursuing their respective master’s degree.

Clarence Basa, a faculty of 8 years in the Information Technology Department finished his Masters in Information Technology last March 31, 2017 in Surigao State College of Technology.

“I will use this to provide new ideas to impart to our students”, said Basa.

Meanwhile, another faculty, Evangeline Apog graduated Masters in Library and Information Science last April 25, 2017 in the University of Mindanao, Davao City.

Apog said her plan now is to continue to learn and grow with Socotech.

Both Basa and Apog are financially supported by Socotech in pursuing their master’s degree.

Socotech Vice-President for Academic Affairs Beverly Chavez said that this is a milestone in the commitment to continuing education to its employees. “This is geared towards a stronger and better delivery of education to our students”, he added.
