The revised Master in Public Administration (MPA) program of Northern Christian College (NCC), approved recently by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), offers choices to the graduate student upon finishing the academic requirements - whether to pursue thesis writing or do a terminal project.

It has been observed that graduate students would not continue with their master’s degree program because of the thesis writing requirement for some reasons. This revised curriculum is the answer to this predicament. Instead of doing a thesis, the student can make a terminal project which can be useful for the agency or office he is working. Since the student is not gathering empirical data, doing a terminal project is faster and less expensive. Moreover, the project can be implemented by his office since the project is developmental in nature.
