February 29, 2016 – PCC stood proud as their ROTC cadets gallantly their way to the Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI) SY 2015 – 2016 at Bulatok Extension, Pagadian City. Their feet stride in unison to the beat of the marching band as a symbol of PCCian unity and cooperation in achieving one goal; to be the regional champions and get to the nationals. The cadets and officers trained for a year with undying hopes of achieving this goal, mustering every ounce of strength they have to prepare them for this moment. Standing in the hot and humid Pagadian atmosphere 8 hours a day is never an easy thing to do, their brown burnt faces and tired eyes are testaments to what an ROTC cadet is willing to give for pride and honor; but every sweat shed, every effort and strength they gave, and every deep breath of fatigue were worth it. As the results came, every PCCian had a pound on their chest saying “we did it!” and “Snappy!” two expressions the cadets and officers usually use to express appreciation to their fellow ROTC mates, filled PCC’s air.

On March 23, 2016, the whole 9th RCDG held a joint graduation for all its ROTC cadets from every school, and it is the moment of great joy as for the first time the PCC ROTC grasped and held on to their trophy as they were proclaimed the champion garnering the score 98.6852. A memento of success from dedication, teamwork, and perseverance as PCC’s name was engraved and immortalized on the trophy. This also made the step for PCC ROTC to quality for the National Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (NAATI).

PCC also received the following awards:  best in company drill, perfect score in small unit leadership, best in map reading, theoretical examination, best in Opord writing, best in ceremonial parade, perfect score in military courtesy and discipline.
