The whole seminary community, Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary (ICS) and Immaculate Conception Major Seminary (ICMAS), held the annual Family Day or Open House, December 6, 2015.
Dressed in purple vestments, Most Rev. Jose F. Oliveros D.D., Bishop of Malolos, presided the Holy Eucharist concelebrated by the seminary fathers to start the gathering of seminarians, families, friends, as well as their benefactors.
Toward the end of the Eucharistic Celebration, Hon. Mayor Ambrosio Cruz Jr. explained to the parents and seminarians the current topographical status of the seminary. “The municipal council is doing appropriate measures to ensure the drainage of the town.”
Before the formal opening of the seminary to the public, Sem. Joseph Franz Dizon, executive producer of Ama Natin: a benefit docu-concert for the construction of the ICMAS library, discussed the plans for the upcoming concert.
After which, seminarians welcomed their visitors in their respective departments.
It was a tradition for the whole seminary, both Major and Minor seminaries, to open its facilities like dormitories and personal rooms of seminarians to visitors Sunday before the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
