FACTS RELATED TO THE COMTEQ ISSUE

Comteq Computer and Business College News

The following are the facts in chronological order, related to the Comteq issue, to wit:
(Note: Not all Annexes are included because of file size constraints)

1. That on September 2, 2000, COMTEQ, a non-stock, non-profit educational institution set up its school inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone under a lease agreement with SBMA;

  • 1.1 Lease Agreement dated September 2, 2000 over Bldg. No. S-8722 and  amended in 2004 to expire on August 14, 2015.

2. That in 2001, 2007, and 2008, three more lease agreements were signed between SBMA and COMTEQ as represented by its Administrator ANSBERT B.JOAQUIN, to wit:

  • 2.1 Lease Agreement dated June 1, 2001 over Bldg. No. 7922 and amended on September 9, 2004 to expire on May 31, 2016
  • 2.2 Lease Agreement dated September 4, 2007 over Bldg. Q-7932 (rooms: A-5,A-6, A-8, A-29, A-30, A-33, A-35) to expire on June 7, 2012. With an option given to COMTEQ to lease all other rooms at Bldg. Q-7939 that may thereafter become vacant; and
  • 2.3 Lease Agreement dated January 31, 2008 over Bldg. A-12, A-16, A-31 at Bldg. Q-7932 to expire in February 2013.
