Misamis University is an educational institution that advocates a progressive and dynamic education that upholds the principle that God is the center of its existence and that education its service offering to God and country.

It is the first and only ISO certified university by Det Norske Veritas, The Netherlands for Quality Education and Service in Mindanao. The university received ISO 9001:2000 certification in April 28, 2005 and five years later ISO 9001:2008 for its Quality Management System pertaining to educational, research and training services.

The Misamis University Scholarship Program (MUSP) offers scholarship assistance to students who are deserving but are financially incapable of pursuing higher education. MU establishes and maintains linkages with private individuals, public and private institutions who are sponsoring scholarship.

The campaign supports the Philippine government’s goal of protecting the human rights of women and girls by upholding its commitment to address all forms of gender-based violence as enshrined in the 1987 Constitution.

Through continued efforts, the University aims to foster an environment that nurtures the minds and intellects of our students, faculty and staffs, and ensures their safety from abuses, especially against women and children.

MU also supports the campaign by gathering public support for the campaign. The end to violence against women starts with us.
