School Summary

AdventistUniversity of the Philippines is located in Puting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite, Philippines, on the boundary of the province of Laguna – 50 kilometers or about an hour drive by car from Manila. The 165-hectare university is on an elevated area overlooking Laguna de Bay. A sixty-kilometer stretch of the lake, the range of the majestic Mount Makiling, and an overview of a beautiful canyon comprise what one Adventist educator has termed “the million-dollar view” of AUP. The site is just an hour away from the mainland and 30 minutes away from Tagaytay City—acclaimed to be one of the coolest and most beautiful cities in the country. From the expressway, motorists pass through the Sta. Rosa exit before turning right to travel along the road that passes by the Coca-Cola Bottlers plant to the Laguna Technopark—the Ayala of the South.

As of March 27, 2020, AUP has NO documented COVID-19 positive patient.

As of writing, we have 1 PUI who showed MILD symptoms only and on home quarantine in campus, symptoms are improving (no more fever for 2 days, only with occasional cough). We have 13 PUMs on home quarantine, all are stable (3 with mild respiratory symptom; 1 with symptom not related to respiratory; 9 no symptoms). Three of the PUMs will end their quarantine today.

We encourage our AUP community to take an active part in the preventive efforts. We ask you to inform our health service if you know someone who has been exposed to places whether local or abroad or to persons with positive COVID-19. This is to make sure that we address the concerns and give necessary intervention for possible spread.

Should you have any queries/ information, please feel free to call the clinic hotline. Further, let us not disseminate unverified information that would create unnecessary fear and panic among our community. Instead, let us be responsible when posting any information in the social media or whatever platform we may use.

We believe that God is our shield and protector in every adversary. He is more powerful than this virus that scare the whole world. Hold on to God’s hand and He will deliver us. Together we pray for protection, we prepare and by God’s sustaining grace we will prevail!

For further inquiries you may connect us through info@aup.edu.ph or connect with us on our Facebook page @AUPShineOn

Baka Naman pwedi na buksan yung gym😁

Well done faculty, staff and students of AUP. You shall continue to find protection under the shadow of His wings.

Lol. Ok. So what about food supply? Most of the in-campus STUDENTS have no more food. Overpricing food supply in the university store. Some of them have little amount of cash. Is it still possible for meet-ups to hand them groceries? Hmmm?
